Loren and Anna

What a gorgeous wedding! And beautiful bride and groom. And I think the weather held off on raining just for us. I worried that we wouldn't be able to get the outdoor location shots we were hoping for, but the rain held off and I think we have some great stuff at the Capital grounds. We even managed to get some of Anna and Loren after the ceremony. The rain just started to come down as we finished up outside. Anna was a great bride with a great attitude! She held up in the cold and kept a smile on her face, even while shivering and shaking in the cold. Thanks for chosing me to share in this day with you! Here are a few sneak peaks.

Beiing Silly with Friends

Hey girls - I had a great time with you! Remember these times as they go by soooo fast. I know, you've heard it before - but it really does.

Drew's Video

I used Drew's photos as a sample of what can be done with the videos. Drew had some great spots of his own for his portraits. I love when seniors come with their own ideas and special locations. It makes their portraits personal to them and fun and different for me.

New Videos

We are now offering videos of your session set to some great original music. These are availalbe on either DVD or CD and come with a web sized version perfect for emailing, Blogs, and your Facebook and My Space pages. Wouldn't they be great playing at your Open House? Or at a baby's first birthday party? Or just for the kids to watch over and over of themselves? LOL. Enjoy this video, which includes all the 08 seniors and a few of the early 09 seniors!

Okay, here's one of my Milestone's babies. This is her entire first year of photos, 3 months - 12 months, including some Christmas and Easter photos. See what I mean about it how it would be cute to play at her first birthday party!

Paige

Well, what can I say, Paige? Who would have guessed that Hazen would produce a fan club for you? LOL. I really had fun with you and your mom and dad, especially after we got started on our location shots. Sorry about the ants! Here are a few sneak peaks - my favorites are the ones where you are laughing. You look so natural and carefree, just the way you should at this time of your life.

Lori

Well, the seniors are really starting back. Here are some sneak peaks from Lori's session. I loved her dance poses, and just kept asking her to leap again and again. LOL. But really, these types of photos show who we are at a particular time in our lives, even if they aren't the ones we choose to hang on our walls. Its why I love when the seniors bring something that is special to them and why I like to try a variety of poses. Thanks, Lori, for a really fun day - and jumping over and over again!

A Stunning 4th of July Wedding

Congratulations to Chris and Matt! What a beautiful wedding they had. Chris's red dress was absolutely breathtaking - in fact, I think it did take the breath from both her dad and her husband to be, when she made her grand entrance! I really can't imagine a more fitting theme, not only for the day, but for this couple. It was fun but elegant, traditional but still held some surprises. So here a few sneak peaks. Thanks for including me on this most special of occasions. I was honored!

Congratulations to Little Miss North Dakota

Congrats, Lyndsey on being crowned Little Miss North Dakota! Lyndsey also won High Score Talent and got to meet and take photos with Miss America, Kirsten Haglund. This was the first time a Miss America has visted a North Dakota pageant, so it must have been so exciting for those there!

Let the Seniors Begin!

I'm so glad seniors are back in! I had a great time with Jacey even though we had to postpone our outdoor session due to bad weather. Until then, here's a sneak peak of a couple from our studio session.

Happy Birthday to Brielle,Josie and Kia Rose

A year has just flown by! These two little angels are growing up so fast. What a difference a year makes. We were actually able to spend some with time with Josie outside in between the rain and thunder storms. The light was beuatiful in her blue eyes and curly hair.
Miss Brielle finished up our Milestones Program with a flourish! Near the end of our session, she turned on the charm and gave us a gave us quite a little show of faces and expressions.
And a happy birthday to our newest Milestone Baby Planner, Kia Rose. What a beautiful newborn she is, and just soooo sweet and good. I can't imagine how much she will change when I see here again at three months!

Trying to Catch Up

We are back from our annual trip to CA and I am trying to catch up on everything, including posting here on the Blog. We had a great time and were able to visit with family and old friends. We even made two trips to zoos - San Francisco and Oakland. But I think the kids had the most fun at the beach and the board walk, especially now that the older ones are tall enough to go on all the rides! This little video is from Squaw Valley at Tahoe. Last year I had to bribe Mason with a t-shirt to get him to do a flip. But this year, he was flipping all over the place. I am experimenting with adding video to the Blog, so bear with me. Okay, can't figure out how to flip it the right way. If anybody knows, please send reply here or send me an email. :)

I did manage to get some portraits of them, too. But to get all five cousins to cooperate was a challenge. I thought I would share one of the out-takes, as we all know those can be some of the funniest. I hate it when Mason does that with his eyes. It gives me the creeps! LOL.

But I did some nice ones, too.

Play Ball

Put me in, Coach...I'm ready to play, today.
Look at me. I could be, Centerfield!

Yay - the grass is finally getting green, the weather is warming up and baseball/softball is about to start. I love hockey season, but I really do think baseball is my favorite. I had a great time with my kids' teams last year and got some really fantastic action shots, if I do say so myself. LOL. My favorite ones are where you get to see their faces, all full of determination, concentration ..... and funniness!

This year I am offering for the first time a Play Ball Action Session. It will include an entire game focused on just your child, including time in the dug out with his/her buddies, hitting, fielding, running, and hopefully some classic sports expressions! You will receive a mini album with 10 of your favorite shots (perfect for your purse) as well as musical DVD slide show of all the images taken. Session will be limited based on my own kids' schedules, of course! :)
